1-YOU NEED TO LAST & PERSEVERE. Like scuba diving, although this is a very fun sport for those who are already used with this, you cant hide the fear that sometime may overcome curiousness and excitement especially to those who are first timer divers. The same with real estate marketing, you cant hide the fact that many entertain fears first rather than being optimistic about it and finally to jump and dive until they got their first sale. The second phase is more crucial, the endurance to overcome the first stages of being a real estate marketer. Like diving, we need not only to overcome fear but also to last and endure all circumstances. These circumstances may come from our environment, our colleagues, our mentors, and even our own selves. Let us always remember that no matter how good is our environment, No matter how people work in our background, no matter how we work for ourselves, NOBODY IS PERFECT IN ANY WAY! Even professional divers make mistakes even if they know the risks attached with it, more so with us. Afterall, what s important is that we tried, we strived, and finally, we will all overcome!
2-YOU NEED TO CHALLENGE YOURSELF TO REACH DEEPER! As the famous quote says that "You cannot discover new oceans, unless you take courage to lose sight of the shore", every successful real estate salesperson will have to take courage to enter into this profession, then focus into this profession, before you can finally excel in this profession. To focus does not necessarily mean that you will need to resign on your current job to focus on real estate. You might even notice that topsellers on this business got great jobs before they entered real estate. WHY? Because they now have the comparison on being in a corporate job versus being in a real estate business. Here, you can have the opportunity to earn more, reach more, and enjoy more! But of course, it usually does not come that easily. You will need to work for it. Anyway, the more you work, the more chances of earning. Based on long observation, many are just into "trial selling" in real estate. They tried to sell some, then wait till they got the commissions from these few sales, then get themselves in discouragement and murmurs and other forms of negativity until they finally succeed...in Quiting! Some also do it this way, sell and earn now, withdraw and party all the way later. To succeed in real estate, we also must learn how to manage our finances. This is where most people surrender. What most people want is the BUY NOW & PAY LATER. Real estate especially project selling is usually PLANT NOW, HARVEST LATER! Which is way much better to free us in obligations like most corporate employees are into nowadays...that is, withdrawing nothing out of their salaries due to enjoying things first before they work for it. DEEPER! What does it mean? There are people I knew (most assuredly those in "trial-selling" version) in which they tried to sell few units (unfortunately, they have their clients reserved in pre-selling and low cost projects which usually in nature is a project for "savings" purposes. Let it be known to all that if we wished for a cash commission, we must work to find cash buyers in projects with license to sell (LTS) already and those with ready for occupancy (RFO) so that more or less, you will also be getting the commission the soonest than those in pre-selling projects. Also, you may try selling high-end projects. GOAL to sell all projects and see for yourselves later on if what project are you most comfortable with their actual commission schemes. If you will be able to do this, you will have more or less lots of sales, be promoted into higher positions and earn higher rates and higher passive incomes, and you will 3-SEE THE BEAUTY INSIDE THE REAL ESTATE BUSINESS.
